Data Acquisition System for Vector Magnetometers

The objective of this thesis is design and realization of a portable device operating in automatic mode and providing unattended and long-term data acquisition from vector magnetometers. The device measures magnetic fields in the range ±100 μT. Measured data of magnetic induction vectors are displayed and stored in the device memory. Introduction of the thesis defines requirements for such a device and gives readers an insight into problems of the measurement of magnetic fields in outline. The main part of the work describes design of electronic circuitries of the portable device including programming itself. Conclusion of the thesis interprets measured values and discusses results of functional tests.
